Biography
At 18 D.Jayme stumbled into the club scene, working as a bartender at Belgium's leading gay dance club Red & Blue. It was there his love for House music was sparked and a small flame rapidly awakened a raging fire nourishing his insatiable need for electronic dance music.
In 2008 D.Jayme decided to take DJ'ing to the next level by starting to spin regularly at private parties and local bars. Not long after he was asked to play abroad for 'Queensday' in Rotterdam, Holland's national party holiday.
Then in 2009 he got his first residency at JOXX Rotterdam - a brand new gay party concept with international ambitions - and later that year the opportunity to spin at Holland's biggest dance parade, the FFF Dance Parade with a whopping 400.000 party addicts!
2010 started with the biggest advancement for his DJ career till today: getting a residency at the now infamous Red & Blue! The club where he took his first steps into the house scene, all those years ago, has now become his home away from home. Every Saturday night he spins the grooves together with the best national and international DJs from the electronic dance scene.
In the summer of 2011 D.Jayme took on a game changing challenge as he started including perfectly beat synched visuals in the mix, adding a mesmerizing visual experience which will captivate and energize the audience even more while delivering an extra dimension to any party event at the same time.
Banging beats, music as the universal language understood by all and DJ'ing the method by which one is able to move many: D.Jayme's sets can be best described as having an uplifting, energetic sound, moving party people to the dance floor and giving them a night out to remember. Fun, gay, luscious, dynamic, fresh and instigative are only a few adjectives that best describe this new up and comer's DJ style as D.Jayme uses the latest harmonic mixing techniques combined with full WAV sound quality to infuse the dance floor with energetic beats and grooves.
Influenced by internationally renowned DJs/producers as David Penn, Marco Lys, Chris Lake, DJ Chus, Avicci, Copyright, Milk & Sugar, Antoine Clamaran, Jamie Lewis and many more, D.Jayme continues to explore the musical universe of house, progressive and techno!
